what to expect from a hun spot?
im listed and so far made about $60, wondering if there is an avg or something?
i guess i will get upto about $100 or so for today, is this about avg? its been so long since i got listed there :/ when they sell a spot, is it $300 for the day? I cant see how thats profitable, or is it for the month? |
dude top spot is 500$ per day
when you buy you have a few advantages as for rules also |
when you compare your sales from your hosting bill due to all the bandwidth used..
then you will know |
I've made from $0 up to $1500 per gallery in 3 days

16 sales to break even at $30 a pop. any idea on traffic estimates on a top spot? Im sure its considerably higher than mid-page, but no idea what it is. |
im sure if you are paying for a top spot the best thing to do would be to use a hosted gallery so you dont have to worry about bandwidth costs
|
1 or 2 sales, 2 or 3 free trials :thumbsup
|
do you really sit and think before you ask questions like this?
|
depends on the gallery and the position.
I would expect your galleries to do exceptionally worse than the average person. |

On The Hun it's usually shitload of clicks and not a lot of sales :thumbsup

Depends on niche, content, and luck....
I would say 6 on average.... |
Free listings ive made from 1 to 15 sales per gallery.
I have 10 paid spots(6-15) coming up soon, Im hoping for at least 25 sales per day....Oh yea, and I hope they will convert to full memberships. Peace |
I have bought several 5 - 16 spots ($200 each) on thehun and I have always made a profit.
Average traffic is 80 - 180K Uniques, depending on the description. I have never lost money, and on my best listings I have pulled in over $1600. My average gross for a hun link is about $700, which is at least $400 net. (Edit: 80 - 180K in the first day, 2nd day usually brings in at least 50K, 3rd day 20 - 40K) A great investment. Good luck :thumbsup -Phil |

i think one of the biggest mistakes people make with the hun is they expect all the sales at once. Sure you might have a great couple of opening days but the REAL money is in the archives. Seriously in 3 months from now bump this thread and you let me know how many sales they hun has sent you over the 3 months from that one posting. I bet you it will be alot more than your first couple of days. :)

I make nice money from old listings in the archives. Maybe the first 3 days you do 15 sales or so but it can be like 20 or maybe more after a year. |
expect the expected
|
So someone sell a 6-15 spot? :)
and rich next time use a good recurring sponsor, e-mail sponsors sucks... |

Am I the only one who finds it ironic that Rich has a link in his sig for an advanced submitter database....and the heading of that page says this
Make $$BANK$$ Submitting Galleries! And he makes $65 off of a hun listing. And a guy with "Gallery designs that convert" in his sig is "keeping his fingers crossed" that he'll make money off of paid hun listings? |

And for 2K i will cross my fingers, it not exactly chump change. BTW: Nice sig :winkwink: |

And the reason i use a email program is because it is a personal friend of mine paying me much more than $1.5 per email. I know for FACT he isnt shaving, and it shows in the numbers. if i get $200 in first day confirms that is great, because it will be another $100+ in second and third day confirms. need 11 signups on a "real" sponsor to top those numbers. Anyone who says email sponsors suck, have only tried weg or CE. :2 cents: |

I had a gallery for crazycontent in the number 17 spot on sublime which is pretty close to HUN type traffic and I got 57 signups in one day.
I think that the reason is that my site has the biggest screen sized MPG files and they download fast. When surfers see this they know they have landed on something new and they join. It does not matter that others have better or different content . Bigger is always better and that makes the difference. I always have preconceived expectations of how many signups i will get and when I get a HUn spot I expect to get at least 75 signups in one day. I have not had any of my affiliates post on the hun yet but when they do I am sure they will be pleased. |
or u could have collected those emails on your own and made even more money from them

As well, you should see the difference in my general traffic numbers when i send to FTC as aposed to when i send to him ... its just unbeleivable to see the difference in both money, and clicks. |
My last listing on the hun I got 118,400 uniques and didn't get any sales. I'm thinking it's because I used a recurring sponsor that doesn't offer trials.
|
yes i know, this happens with all mail sponsors for 2 basic reasons.
- your email db is empty compared to a big free mail sponsor program. Millions of emails have already registered in their db, less chances for signups. - you count emails from all countries, while email sponsors exclude the unproductive ones. |

Give us a look at your gallery and i can tell you.
Im to busy to look on the hun to see what galleries are promoting email sponsors today. |
