Abortion: The Definitive Position
 

I am pro-abortion: none of you should breed. And if you're the kind of person who would have an abortion, you should have an abortion. Let's look at why:

1) The biological imperative is to protect the young, as illustrated by this Gary Larson Far Side cartoon:

Non-defective parents would give their own lives to protect the lives of their offspring. So if you'd kill your own baby, chances are you have defective genes, and we're better off as a species if your genes do not get passed on another generation.

2) But, perhaps your genes aren't defective per se -- perhaps you've just managed to override your biological imperative by being a supremely selfish human being. In that case, you have a very shitty value structure and supremely poor judgement, and we'd be much better off as a species if you didn't raise and offspring and pass your values on to them.

Either way, you're defective if you'd put you'd kill your own offspring, even more so if you'd let someone else do it, even more so than that if you'd let them punch a hole in the back of your offspring's head and suck his brains out with a vacuum.

So do us all a favor and abort and save us another generation of your genes and/or values which would be carried by your progeny.
