Google and PR
I apparently do not understand Google and PR. The top ten sites for webmaster resources on google have a PR0. How can that be if PR has any meaning at all?
I have researched some info that says that a high PR on Google means little as far as receiving traffic and that one can receive far more traffic from reciprocal link exchanges than one will ever receive from a search engine. Anyone care to offer input? |

It could be that the pr hasn't updated on the toolbar yet

PR doesnt always effect the sites relevantcy to the search. there maybe a site thats more relevant content wise, but doesnt have the other qualities that would make it a high pr.

PR is but a small part of the equation.
too many people put way too much emphasis on it .. its very possible to have a good listing for a great keyword with low PR |
Is it a PR0 or is the bar totally grey? Alot of peoples toolbars just aren't working today and everything's coming up grey.

Checked again and they are all gray except for the one. I think I will just continue on building my site without concerning myself about PR. The site that I am currently working on has a PR0 (not gray) but I only submitted it about a month ago...and I have two other of my sites linked to it...but niether are relevant to the current site (one of them has a PR3 and the other has a PR2). I assume that as I progress with the site...a PR will occur...or maybe not. It is my understanding that some sites gain a PR by longevity alone.

Im in 4 th position for search terms related to shemale movies and the page has PR0 who gives a fuck about PR:321GFY

Its likely a freshbot spider that grabbed the url which hence hides the true PR and the backlinks.
