Good thinking. I currently send frequent care packages to my friends that are currently in Iraq...more than twenty are there. :drinkup

I totally agree....there are about 4 guys I send stuff to....the rest can't be located and I can't talk to them while they are in the field..... and they sure as hell can't get packages.....But I always make sure they have a good time when they come back in and get leave.

Tore my right rotator cuff, had to reclass or get out... didnt want to get out cause I liked the Army so much

But after I got out of combat arms and saw how the 'other' side was, I couldnt wait to get out of the Army

it's fun except for the times that there is counter-battery fire landing in among the loaded 548s behind the gun line.....or you are advance party and there are non-friendly personnel and little "surprises" hanging around the intended AO

sextoyking 11-05-2003 03:38 PM

Sperbonzo,

no shit. there was many hairy days in Germany like that. Our battery did ok most of the time. We had a few screwups during reforger in germany, but nothing too serious.

Pretty quiet years to serve......good timing! I ended up going through the "RIP" after '91 and having a few interesting deployments, then I got out.
