CombiMatrix Group Announces Delay in Roche Launch of matriXarray

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 4, 2003--Acacia Research Corporation (Nasdaq:CBMX)(Nasdaq:ACTG) announced today that Roche Diagnostics has informed Acacia's CombiMatrix group that Roche will not be launching Roche's matriXarray product suite in 2003, as previously indicated by Roche. The product suite is being developed under a development agreement between CombiMatrix and Roche. No new launch date has been set.

I have excellent contacts. You believe me now ? The risk is that Roche drops the whole product and writes off 70M. Watch out. No new deals since a long time. Is CBMX dead?
