Why on earth do you think there is one? People in europe for the most part either use .coms or country specific extensions such as .de or .co.uk etc.

Yes, on the Internet, there is no "Europe" or "Asia" or "America". There are .com, .net and .org and country specific toplevels like .nl (in my case), .co.uk, .fr, .de etc. Anything else it pretty useless in my opinion.
