high speed is not guarenteed - to make sure you get it arrive a day or two early.

you should be fine getting there on the 3rd - if you arrived on the 5th it would be a crap shoot whether you'd get a high speed room or not.

How many rooms have high speed? I booked but didn't request it, can you request when you arrive?

it's an extra $10-$15 a day to use it though....... no biggie, about the same cost as a beer from the minibar lol

I asked for High Speed last year and I did'nt get it :( So even if you ask it is true you have to get there early ( Hence the 3rd )

I'm just getting a room next to Sleazy this year so I can use wireless and bum off his high speed connection.

I agree - I stopped taking my laptop to shows about a year ago. If I really need to check something, there are tons of internet connections on the show floor or I can bum a connection from someone else. :thumbsup

I can't go anywhere without my laptop and a connection.

it is a job..I need to check my emails, etc. Not everyone I deal with will be at the convention and it might be the only way to arrange meetups with those that are going to be at the show.

Juicy, ever been to a convention at all? They have like 50 Internet computers on the convention floor. But I can understand if you need "a little privacy while you surf". :winkwink:
