Come on..... its no use to me if the host as icq lit up 24/7 but no one on icq to deal with the complaints....

so from a customers point view only please post hosts u use with this type of service.

ANY providers that post here will be automatically ignored.

Prohosters has worked on our servers whenever they were needed (including Xmas morning, Sundays and updating only from a 5-7AM window). I am going to get flamed for saying this, but Prohosters has been a fantastic host for us.

I have heard that the virtual hosting situation with PH is not comparable to their dedicated solutions.

rackspace.com is what your searching for.

but, ...you'll pay for that kind of quality. From their 100% uptime gaurantee, to their network infrastructure, to their 24/7 support, it's not cheap.

Hosting is a part of this business that's to important to deal with any other form of communication but the phone when there's a problem...unless the issue is minor ofcourse. But even then, i would rather talk to someone.

Support is at the phone 24/7, 365 days a year, waiting to work. Always there, no matter what. Their slogan is 'fanatical support.' Obviously you can email, or use their ticketing system, but why. Just pick up the phone.

Been with them a bit over 6 years. The only time i've ever been down all these years is when I do something stupid...like try and play admin or something.

Man, I don't own a hosting company, I am a customer of them, but a happy one, otherwise I wouldn't use them any longer.
There is a difference between a customer and the owner or employee of such a company, when recommending hosting.
For the technical details, you just have to click a few times and read what they offer, it's that easy. :)

I've heard webair is pretty good with their support. I currently host on webair and their service has been so amazing that i have never had to use their support to know what its like.

(I pay for my bandwidth)
