Can't see whats in the folder, get 403

WTF, how can i setup my site so i can just load www.blah.com/pic and see what i got in there. I get 403 error all the time
folder is 777 too

put a ".htaccess" file in the directory where you still want to allow indexes, it should say "Options +Indexes".
