Oh, Look. Another Acacia package for me.
 

I got another Acacia packet, today. This one had specific addressing information on it. Information only one place had.

You'll never guess who it is that had that information.

Those of you who have been paying attention have already guessed that this packet came addressed to a name/company name/address that I was registered with at Matrix Content. I haven't bought anything from Matrix in a while and the information on the packet is way out of date which makes it easy to pinpoint the source.

So, there is no longer any doubt in my mind. Acacia is using the Matrix database. All the denials in the world add up to zero in my book. I know where Acacia got the information for this packet.

All of the Matrix apologists need to take a step back and deal with the facts. If I say it, it's true and anyone who's done business with me knows that.

I've asked this before and not gotten an answer...

but in all the combined years in business, how is it that so many of you managed to only give out information like your name and address only ONCE?

And even if I buy your answer, why would you give matrix different info than you gave everyone else?

If this is the case, then the people living in my old apartment will get a nice acacia package

Who cares whether or not you believe it? I have no reason to say this if it isn't true. The fact of the matter is, I, and many other webmasters, use different information at different times for different reasons. I generally use different DBAs and/or different mailing addresses for different projects. That, combined with how out of date the information on the packet is, makes it glaringly obvious where the information came from.

I am not sure what to make of that either... but it sure is intrigueing and I sure would be interested in having a look at that. If you are comfortable with the notion, can you fax a copy of the packaging and the materials to my office at 949-716-8081?

I'll have to dig it out of the trash if the cleaners didnt already take it to the dumpster.

I know, i'm a bad american, i didnt do the whole "return to sender" thing, but i was kinda busy and i assumed it was just more junk mail that r-n probably didnt need.

I bet Acacia is logging GFY, just to collect comments to use in court.

I think http://www.fightthepatent.com will save the day in helping kill the whole issue. It appears the idea was thought of before Acacia did there patent thing....
