There's a little mom and pop place here in Home, Washington that is known for their dinner-plate size burgers. Also we had a place local called "Earthquakes" that made them that size. Cutting them in 4ths gave you about 4 good-sized normal burgers. They had smaller versions called "Tremors". They closed, but are at the Western Washington Fair every year.
