I saw the LA Riots, that was enough for me.

The planet can only support so many people. It takes 1 acre per person to feed each of us for 1 year.

Plus you can only kill so many fish and animals till those start being depleted.

I don't see the problem here......on one hand we have a lack of food.....on the other hand we have the problems with fat teenagers.......and on the third hand there is the gun controversy. This is all so simple.

If there's people starving in America, it's not lack of food, we waste more food than any other nation in the world. People are hungry from not having money to buy the food. This thread insinuates that people are fighting for the last loaf of moldy bread on the shelf like America is soviet Russia.... puh-fuckin-lease!!

And the homeless and the poor, can receive meals and foodstamps. No one HAS to go hungry in America. 66% of the country is overweight and growing by the minute. And I'd like to think people would first resort to growing veggies in their garden, before rioting in suburban America.

There's plenty of land, supplies and food in America. There are no areas in America comparable to a 3rd world country. For Christ sakes, poverty in America still includes electricity, TV, clothes, heat, water, VCRs and microwaves. TRUE 3rd world countries that have food riots, have houses made of homemade bricks held together by muddy water that they drink and use for sanitation.
