How to find out who signed up to Acacia on the quiet.
This came to me while reading another thread and it's so simple.
If you have received a letter from Acacia write to your sponsor and/or content provider and ask him if they have signed up and whether you are liable for the license by promoting or buying from them. In fact a better way would be to get your lawyer to write the letter. If they lie and you get served or sign up when you did not need to you can sue them. It's simple really we need to know who is on our side or their side. Every $ sent to Acacia is being used to fuck with the rest of us, starve them of cash and they go under. It's one thing to give in to a bully, it's another to hand him bullets for his gun. |
HEY Charly , when are u coming to Prague ? You seem to have dissapeadred from Berlin. :( didnt see you after the Fine Supper you treated me to :thumbsup

Don't believe anything being said. Right now a lot folks are talking out of both sides of their mouth, especially a few of the larger companies.

KRL That is why I'm saying ask them. If they lie they could be in deep shit. |
or, why not call acacia under the pretense of wanting to comply with their 'can only link to sponsors that have signed'.
But in order to 'comply', you need to know everyone that HAS signed ... correct? |
This Acacia shit is fucked up!! a friend of mines recieved a letter from them and they don't even use or promote vids online!!

Charly posts a very valid point. Sponsors will have to respond to our questions truthfully so that we can know where we stand legally when promoting them. |
