I think that price point at $79 is too high. $49.95 tops and even that's a lot of money to most consumers right now for a non-essential type of gift.

Gotta hand it to you, you are always coming up with compelling creative stuff....:thumbsup

This seems like a "high end" product that would appeal to somebody with some money to burn...

For what its worth, here are a few ideas from the Thanks Mr. Helpful Department:

-offer an upsell of burning the video onto CD or VHS and shipping it to the recipient in gift wrap.

-Offer an even "higher end" product where the model does either masturbation or more involved porn scenes wherein her focus is on the recipient... for example ramming a dildo in her and screaming out the recipient's name and saying she wishes she was with him, etc.

-Offer a free version that doesn't have any custom filming but instead uses custom flash text or some other scripted customization and then let people send it around to their buddies for free... This will create a viral distribution naturally targeted at people who get a kick out of this kind of thing... which will hopefully lead to upsells of the actual product.

I tend to agree, something in the $40-50 range would be a good pricing point I think. $80 and it becomes a little steep for a gift.

Eb the site looks great but the price is a little high...plus you got a seven day wait time.

Alot of webcam models do private shows for 30$ for 10 minutes on the internet and that includes phone sex at the same time...some even cheaper.

I have a idea that might make you money....how much per sale do you make at 79$ ?

Alot of this webcam models have very good video software :-) when me and my wife did it...we bought alot of software to go along and could easily make those private message video. Alot of models could.

I know you could get at least 20 to 50 models easy that would be willing to do a 2 to 5 minute video for 20$ and send it back to you within 24 hours...plus if you made them sign a contract and worded it right....you could use all the video in all your members area and upsell this to your members on all your site.

Pay webmasters the 15$ per sale....lower the price to 50$ and stick 15$ in your pocket....over and over

I think you should also add...phone calls back on there as well. I would rather my buddy buy me a nasty phone call in the middle of the day as a video e-mail, but still a pretty close market to the same crowd.

if you can't cough up $79 the product is not for you. Not everyone is a loser looking for a free trial. Personally, I d charge more.
