Who told Acacia this was true??

Acacia is generally known throughout the adult entertainment industry as the licensor of its DMT technology patents

Such a bright statement. :1orglaugh

What they lack in patent, they try to make up for in hype.

Anyone notice that they now stand about 1 in 5? That is, for every five people they get to sign, they pick up another one that's going to fight. I can't find anything that compares to it! Maybe the adult industry isn't "low hanging fruit" after all...

Yea, they tell the readers of print this shit, and ppl accept it as fact. It's funny and sad at the same time actually :)

We'll see if we're the "bottom feeders". LOL.

The patent numbers in question:
6,144,702 (division of 6,002,720)
6,002,720 (continuation of 5,550,863)
5,550,863 (continuation of 5,253,275)
5,253,275 (continuation of 5,132,992)
5,132,992 (original patent)

And here is the url to pull them up at:
http://patft.uspto.gov/netahtml/srchnum.htm

There are really only two of any importance, the original and the division, all the rest fall in between and hold no surprises if you 're familiar with those two.

When trying to understand a patent, keep in mind that the main thing are the claims, those numbered items. That's the true definition of the invention. If it's not there, it's not part of the invention, even if it seems the abstract might otherwise cover it.

Fiveeyes I've seen the work that you and others are putting in over at the stocks board - good job. Keep it up and let those buyers know the truth and where they can find it.
I'd love to help out over there but I know nada about trading stock and the jargon.

If a handfull of fast talking Orange County lawyers think they can take on the entire adult industry and win they are in for a very rude awakening.
