Okay so someone has hi-jacked my pc....no matter what I do I can't get my homepage to stay....it keeps changing...I've installed ad-aware and I've tried to ad/remove on my control panel..nothing is working....can someone help me?????:helpme

i won't recommend this unless you have a better idea.. the last time i had my pc like that, i just formatted and reinstalled my PC. that's the last resort i suggest.

try the time machine function uninstall what ever was put on your machine with the wind back restore mode with XP

well already tried the spy-bot and it didn't work...I'm starting to get really frustrated...:mad:

I had to format mine . . . it turned out better in the end, if only becuase I got to archive all teh crap they tell you too on a regular basis! ;)

log and I'll tell you what to eliminate.

P.S. -- What you have should be considered a virus. You wont get rid of it totally. You will delete something and it will replicate itself somewhere else on your computer. If you have all of your programs backed up or have all the discs/floppys/drivers/ect. you need, then just reformat it. That will whip your harddrive clean of all them nasty spam programs. Clean start, is the only start.
