Who has been to Cape Town, SA?
 

I am planning on being in Cape Town for ten days in November.
Does anyone have any suggestions beyond Table Mountain, Cape Point, etc?

I went to Table mountain with my family when i was really young. Must have been about 7 years old. I can only remember being in the cable car thing, and that it was fuckin' cold.

Should be able to find pretty much everything about Cape Town, tourism wise, on that site.

I plan on hiking up first table mountain first, and taking the cable car another day when we are feeling lazy.

I have visited Cape Town more times than I can remember. It's a great place. Take the coast drive out to the Strand it is awesome. Cape Point is also very nice. Blouberg strand is one of the nicest beaches you will find anywhere. It has a great view of Table mountain across the bay and if your lucky you will see whale as well.

Don't forget to go on one of the wine route tours. If you take the drive out to Cape Point there is a great sea food restaurant built on the rocks with the waves breaking all around.
