CjOverkill 3.0.1 released

CjOverkill 3.0.1 has been released.

New in this version:

1 ) Fixed a bug that prevents special trades (bookmarks, etc) to be set another maximum clicks or maximum raws than the default.
2 ) Fixed lots of small and almost irrelevant bugs in the core code.
3 ) Error when there are no trades in the toplist was cleaned. no more empty toplist warnings.
4 ) Turn on/off unused features for performance boosting.
5 ) Enhance unknown hits tracking so they can also be banned. Feature also known with the "Log Martians" name because one of the testers decided to call them martians :)
6 ) Fixed a small bug with trade tracking when a trade was deleted but it still sends traffic using the acurate tracking link.
7 ) security has been improved and lots of potential security bugs regarding non standard PHP setups were fixed.
8 ) Fixed several small bugs in the tracking and trade code that made logs appear a bit ugly.
9 ) Fix some small cosmetic bugs like the security reports (they are ugly)
10 ) Detailed site stats for the last 24 hours
11 ) Extend trade global history stats (24 hours detailed stats per trade)
12 ) Last hit sent in the trade stats, useful for safely delete inactive trades
13 ) Extended cheat reports on why a trade was disabled
14 ) Enhance admin interface to show full site status in a couple of rows.
15 ) Mark new, dead or cheat reported trades
16 ) Trade numbering (list of numbers before the tradenames so you know how many trades you have and their tid)
17 ) Track hits incomming from multiple domains and belonging to the same trade
18 ) Track hits from site A and return traffic to site B (same as 17)
19 ) Trades to be able to be set on/off to appear on the tolist even if they are enabled
20 ) Fix an annoying bug in the links panel (not critycal, so no problem)
21 ) Autorepair on crash
22 ) Emergency log on crash
23 ) Full internal integrity checks
24 ) Make visible tid enabled trading links from the admin interface
25 ) Repair from the admin if the autorecovery does not work ok.
26 ) Optimyze database from the admin.
27 ) Log pruning (allows you to operate really large sites. Up to 1 million uniques per day with no problems)
28 ) Change internal names in order not to mess with other running scripts.
29 ) Separated filter on my side, so hitbots will get an extra filtering and analysis stage (preparing for the artifficial intelligence module).

Hope you like it :)

As you can see I just decided to stop posting on Choker's threads and instead of that put my hands on work in order to provide a better software instead of loosing my time reading his crazy claims.
2 Weeks ago I promised there would be a nice surprise. Well, time is over and here you have it.
In one week more I will bring you another nice surprise :)

Well, I'm back to work as I have to finish a script for one of my clients :)

PS: To my competitors... If you were posting less and developing more probably your product would not get so phased out with this new release. Next version developement begins in 2 weeks as my active products are under constant developemnt :)

Sorry but I just refuse to use a ripoff of an already free script. Whats more is you've got the balls to go on this board and advertise the script and say you didnt modify an existing script and call it your own.

Your a worthless piece of stinky dogshit. What comes around, goes around. Just remember that.

TTT C Plus is now in the final stages of coding, and soon to be beta tested. Using C code with binary datafiles, it will be installable by the user with just a web browser. It will have many features unknown to exist in any present trade scripts. Including the ability to manage unlimted numbers of TGPs from one master admin.

what made you switch to C? will you release source code or just binaries for different platforms?

kirupai 10-26-2003 07:17 PM

Hey Powercum can you contact me @ 337197916 ICQ pls thanks

There are good reasons why I have my server admin block my ips from logging into my own servers. I can't even FTP without crashing a server.

cezam 10-26-2003 07:27 PM

Choker, compiled C code will for sure be quicker, but it will also bring some more problems (not all hosts allow cgi's, you'll have to create binaries for all major platforms etc.)... if you just wanted to hide your sources, you could use zend for the same effect... just my :2 cents:

anyway, i'm looking forward to your new script, it will rule for sure :thumbsup

Hahaha, ask PPK. We have had numerous heated arguments over why I can't ftp into the right server. I blame him for fucking up the roundrobin DNS's and he blames me for not knowing how to use FTP Pro. Usually I give up trying and just have him copy files to the right server for me. I am not a techie kind of guy at ALL.

Zend is not on every server. Majority of hosts use Linux, Redhat. Binaries will be provided for Linux and freebsd

And don't forget, as an added bonus of working with a thief, you will also receive the following bonuses:

1) Being blacklisted
2) Losing trades from people who won't deal with thieves
3) Probably getting ripped off by a thief

Yeah, where can I get a copy?

yeah, i have one on my mind.

i want to do niche-specific skimming - eg. when an user clicks something in an amateur area of my tgp, he gets skimmed to trades that are marked as 'amateur', not to 'bbw' :)

sorry, my english ain't that good, hope you get the point :)

I think you are referring to group trading?

yes, basically i want to have few different groups of trades, and specify what group i send the surfer to when he gets skimmed.

Choker 10-26-2003 08:09 PM

My opinions on group trading...

I think it is more trouble than it is worth. I think you have to spend more time getting traffic to your trades that is just a little more productive than non-niche traffic than it is worth the hassle of.

IE, what do you do if you need to send that trade 500 hits a hour but you have him set for say amateur and you only have 400 a hour of amateur niche to send out? Do you send him 400 of amateur and then 100 of general? If so you just diluted that overall traffic out to him back to the same quality as general. So in effect you just nulified the entire group trading theory. Follow me on this? This is my opinion on this, for what it's worth. LOL

I think group trading is a micro management thing, that your time could be better spent doing other things, like making more tgps? I mean how many hours a day would you spend with groups, changing this trade to that group, then the next day changing him to another to see if it works better. All this time spent on this you could have made 3 more TGPs and increased your overall traffic by 10k at least.

Gee choker, I really don't know. ASIANFRENZ site has been around for a couple years.
Registered ASIANFRENZ.COM trade name
City Business license issued to ASIANFRENZ.COM
Incorporated

And yes, I use CJOVERKILL Trade program.

Take a look at X3's TRAFFIC TRADER PRO.
It has this feature, and I use it on a limited basis on a couple of sites.

Choker, that was a serious question. Do you code your scripts yourself, or do you have them coded by others?

Just curious since I heard you hired coders for your projects.

Choker, one nice suggestion about your new C script.

You are saying you are going to supply 1 admin for it, and so we can use for more than 1 site. ok nice feature, but add a feature so we can buy off the 1% skimming for 1000$ or something then, your another script epowertrade is nice too but its still differnt.

im not using cjoverkill because its a ripped script, but i still hate the 1% skimming, im thinking to buy 10 licenses for epowertrade but im going to wait for TTT C++

what are the plans for epowertrade, is there a C++ version coming with the same features?

handle of 'NO COOKIE CLICKS' feature..
that's all webmasters who use ttt want to see

- Jesus Christ - 10-27-2003 04:34 AM

I've never used TTT or seen the code.... But I would assume it would gosomthing like this.

if (!$from){
$from = "nocookie";
(whatever you want to happen here)
}

a redirect to a sponsor or setting the skim to 0 to get a bookmarker are my suggestions.

They key is to find a !(from variable) statment, but then again..... I dont know if choker allows his script to be modded like that.

is not working well.. best will be to include no cookei clicks feature in ttt script..
I realy Don't understand WHY they ton'd add No Cookie Clicks feature to TTT.. epower have this feature and all others majors scripts have this feature.. many webmasters switched to arrow trade becouse ttt don't have this feature :(

so, Choker, we will see No Coockie Feature in the new version of ttt?
