I think Rob Sperman said that you have to pay 2% gross total and their was no way they would allot you to split it up?

Or is a deal possible? They don't seem like they like to bargain, and just try to scare you into settling.

I doubt Hustler is paying .2% let alone 2%.

Any deal is possible. Hustler prolly got off with 1% net not gross of just internet transactions, and a bucket of extra cripsy.

Hustler is probably paying a flat rate per year and it's probably not much.

If Acacia would have pushed hard, Flynt would have pushed back.

That is correct. Which makes me wonder what playboys stance on this. My guess is Acacia tried to push them and then Playboy pushed back and Acacia backed away.

Sometimes businesses can't be overly concerned with principles and banding together.. They just need to look at their end of it and decide what's best for them..

I know there are lots of adult industry folks that look at them and others as traitors, pussies, yada yada.. but when it comes down to it.. even though we're all in the adult business, each of us has our own separate business and they must be looked at and dealt with accordingly..

But it wouldn't surprise me if they didn't throw in a nice chunk o' change to help fight it..
They are probably looking at this as a single little payment; figuring that the patent will be invalidated and they won't have to worry with it anymore..
