Flu shots or Spray?

I feel like I am coming down with a cold...I wanted to get my flu shot this season. Perhaps the spray?

Anyone try the spray as of yet?

freeadultcontent 10-26-2003 02:49 PM

shots.

Spray has not been tested in a large population pool, i.e. unknown side effects a possibility. Last thing I want is some strange shit going on in my nose.

neither....stay healthy, and keep your immune system strong.

Pure lemon juice, echinacea, and goldenseal root are a few i highly suggest when you think you may be getting sick.

I got a shot once and it did more harm than good. My arm became swollen and I felt llike I had Mono for about three weeks.

Just wear the mask.

I used to run 5 miles a day drink Orange Juice. Cranberrie..
I never ate fatty foods or fast food.

HoneyBabeB 10-26-2003 05:40 PM

I dont trust the spray that much

jojojo 10-26-2003 06:47 PM

Don't take any generic crap - injected or otherwise - simply buy this product and when you feel symptons coming on - take it and it will go away.

I spend a fortune every month eating organic food etc I know my stuff - I recommend this to EVERYONE - I have not had a flu develop beyond a few hours of discomfort for the last 3 yrs since I started taking it nor has anyone I know who takes it. This company Boiron also makes remedies for regular colds also. This stuff works - period end of story.

http://www.oscillo.com/

Most natural food stores sell it and lately more and more generic stores sell it also.

tony286 10-26-2003 06:49 PM

HEARTBREAKER 10-26-2003 06:55 PM

mastamindz 10-26-2003 06:56 PM

What? You mean you actually leave the house?

Fuck your brave.

grogan 10-26-2003 06:59 PM

Drink plenty of water and eat plenty of pussy.

Keeps the immune system workin. If your going to take something up your nose, make sure it's coke.

evildick 10-26-2003 06:59 PM

Fuck the flu shot. Do you know what's in that crap? Formaldehyde, for one thing.

There's already talk about it being linked to Alzheimers.

Unfortunately I have to get it every year because of the offline business my family is in. (health care)

I wouldn't get it at all if I had the choice.

Read that and let me know if you still want to get your flu shot:

Must be true its on the internet.

Oh forgot aluminum causing alzheimers is a myth.
Alergic reactions to anything is common in some people.
Flu vacines are grown in chicken eggs, not monkeys or hamsters or whatever else.
According to enough studies everything but death can lead to cancer.

The list of ingredients is certainly true. Even if aluminum doesn't cause Alzheimers, that still doesn't mean I want to inject it in my arm.

The ingredients would be enough of a reason for me to avoid taking it, but unfortunately I can't.

I have to take it too, but I doubt the list, since so many of his other "facts" are wrong.

Not to mention you get most of that from a cig, a soda, or breathing some exhaust.

Well the facts aren't necessarily wrong.

Whether or not aluminum can be linked to Alzheimer's is certainly debatable, although there is not solid evidence to prove the link beyond the shadow of a doubt yet.

He never said the flu shot was grown via animals, just that vaccines in general often were, so there was no error there. (he did mention chicken embryo)

Are you the kid who was begging for money last week because you let your child live in a 'crack whore home' and are on your parents insurance, if so get both.

Otherwise, none.

Honestly I didnt even visit the page, just guessed from normal hype. :zzwhip

PersianKitty 10-26-2003 07:43 PM

The shots are 'killed virus' while the spray is 'live virus'. With the killed virus, it's not very likely that the shot will make you feel sick. With the live virus, it stays in your system for several weeks, and you are likely to feel flu symptoms.

Haha. I hope it all is just hype. I'm sure the day they establish a direct link between the flu shot and any disease(s) my family will be the first ones to get sued (for requiring our staff to take it).
