How much roughly do lawyers charge for basic advice?

I just want to get a lawyer to go over my site and compliance statements before I launch it to make sure everything is ok before promoting it.
I dont produce any content myself, it's all bought from large web vendors. It's nothing too racey or gross, just regular softcore and hardcore.

I dont know if this is a $500 task or a $5,000 task.

You ask them and find out :2 cents:

Depends on quality of lawyer. I just discussed an issue with a copywright lawyer from georgetown or wherever the fuck that bottom sucker was from, and it cost me 700$

There the bottom of the barrel, thats for sure.

Well as a company we have several different lawyers dealing in several different areas from employment law to contract law, tort and pretty much everything in between that we could ever need.

Not one of them has the same cost as the other :2 cents:

Figure out how many hours it will take to review everything and then multiple that by the hourly rate...

Seriously there is no way to answer this question. As said already it depends on the lawyer's rates and the time needed.

Don't you have any friends that would do that for you over a free lunch. It sounds like relatively besic stuff you are checking.

Good luck.

Check out your local college and get with a few paralegals in their last year.. They could probably help in exchange for a little beer money.. :)

Buy a robot-lawyer

CPU usage x 1000 x hours = price

Most quality lawyers charge on the low end $150 / hr and on the high end about $400 / hr.

Depedns on your lawyer, state, if he is a big name and so on.
