That happens on legal copies too.. it's a bug, I've had it happen many times.

Yes, it happens in legal copies. I've only had it happen twice, but both times it was when I was really low on system memory. I just had to keep closing the windows until I could get in and close the document I was currently working on.

It's a bug that's been in several versions of photoshop, but it's not a common one.. slipped through the versions because it was fairly rare..

The only thing I find with it though is once you've had it once on a certain install, themore often you hit it.. I haven't been able to narrow it down to a software error or a hardware conflict or something. Noooo idea ;)

I once used my warez copy and a adobe worker knocked on my door and asked me to stop so I did.

Bigjohn 10-24-2003 11:44 PM

I get wierd help pop-ups after I've been editing images for an hour or so non stop. It's worse if you use a lot of filters. I think photoshop either does a crappy job of managing resources or possibly has a memory leak or two. When it happens I just reboot.

Such shit always happens to me when my cat walks over my keyboard :1orglaugh .
The really funny thing is that sometimes she works a windows function that I never seen before. Try to find the key to reverse that :1orglaugh
