What would happen if NOBODY payed them? Imagine how much money they would have to go through chasing 100,000+ webmasters. What's the worst that could happen? Refuse to pay and spend time behind bars? Worthy cause if you ask me. I'd gladly do a year in jail than some bully taking my hard earned money that doesn't belong to them in the first place. So say it goes as far as everyone ends up in court and sent off to jail. Could you really see the courts sending 100,000+ webmasters to jail for a silly vague patent issue?

This is just a thought on the subject, I am not saying people should not pay (altho I think AssCrACkIA should be shot and pissed on) nor am I saying you all should stand up. But maybe, just maybe, the fight is so worth it that the risks are waranted.

Bingo, worst they can do is get a court order to shut down your website(s) and they're only gonna pursue the ones with money, the webmaster who falls under the $1500 per year license will not likely be taken to court... (yet)...

They would seek an injuction and have your sites shut down within days. They did it to Scorescash.

why wouldn't the courts do it. if they send one, why wouldn't they send another and another one.

but the adult industry is fucked because of this! or the internet adult industry. i'm just waiting to get my papers from them, i'll go down to their fucking office myself and fucking rip them a new asshole! because they ain't getting shit from me, since i've tried to earn my money the hard way. the patent probably took 10 fucking minutes to write!

so really, a person like me with no videos would have nothing to worry about. And even if I did have something they could shut me down about... they can shut my sites down all they want, I'll just make another 150 and rebuild the SE sites.

if a little jail time isn't a both to you, why do you bother doing anything, just be a criminal. if you get caught, you'll only do a little time, no harm in that

Because I am honnest person. I work hard for the money I get. I would never want anything taken from me so I would never take anything from anyone else. Be it selling drugs, robbing, fraud. It all boils down to taking money away from someone who worked hard for it. That I could never do.
