anyone use mid-pages on galleries?
the surfer clicks the link to your sponsor, but instead goes to a page you setup inbetween the gallery and the sponsor.
your page may have an HPA to the sponsor, maybe some directions of how to signup, or some links at bottom like "no thanks" or whatever i know some people use this method in order to avoid sending hits directly to a sponsor that has popups all over it. Is it recomended? or does it seriously affect sales? :helpme |
it tends to filter the traffic a bit better and make for better ratio's

i didnt. but i am now, thanks! :thumbsup

you are sending to a page with links to other galleries, skimed to trades. a mid-page would send directly to the sponsor, with a few other links on there incase they lost interest in the sponsor. |
also usefull if you want to switch sponsors without editing your galleries and risking the blacklist
|
its just another way to loose surfers, to put doubt in their mind, to give them more options to escape.

btw, did you know that having the same text size on your sponsor links confuse the surfer so they don't know where they want to click :) |

Trial & error, with your surfers your ads and your sponsors :2 cents: |

Anyway, dont use these middle pages, send your traffic directly to sponsors and dont control what happens to it. |
