here is a virtual "tour" of my local skatepark.

I worked for this company for 6 years, I initially helped campaign the local council to get funding for the skatepark project about 3 years ago. Everyone pooled together in the end, and we built it over a month.

It's about 20,000 square feet, indoors...I love it :)

I was a little skater chic back in my day. after birdhouse but before krook grinds. i've still got my element (with pink wheels and hardware).

skaters are hot. i can't even keep my balance on a board with someone else pushing me around -lol

I took my '86 Caballero board to the local skate park a few months ago and the kids all laughed at me.

Till I dropped in on the vert ramp that they were all scared to even pump on.

But I tell ya, I hadn't skated in years and I weigh a bunch more now and was so different having the extra bulk, center of gravity was all screwed up...

why the fuck wasn't I born on the West Coast...It's where I truly belong....and I'm thousands of miles away stuck in boredom!!
