Someone should really do a comprehensive study and forever end this debate. I mean if I wasnt incredibly lazy i would but still. Everyone asks this question at least once a week but the answers are never comprehensive.

This question changes constantly. We deal with many different banks both onshore and offshore to help merchants get their own MIDs, as well as helping them with gateway and fraudscrubbing issues, and these banks are changing their policies on an almost weekly basis. Each merchant is treated on a case by case basis by the banks and it demands our constant attention to keep up with who is doing what on a weekly (almost daily) basis.
