ja"v"a / design problem, need help

i'm trying to insert a banner (468x60) using j a v a into
a design of mine, but it seems to add a 2pixel border
around the image (jpg & gifs only!!)
which causes the design/header to get screwd up!

it does not happen when a flash banner is being shown
in the same spot !
can anyone help me out ?

in there.. you have to put border=0 after the width/height of the image
