how well do hosted galleries convert?
 

I've been hunting around for some good hosted galleries to submit, but I haven't seen any really polished galleries yet that look like they can really convert the traffic well. So far, all I've seen are cookie-cutter galleries with no custom graphics. Does this shit actually convert?

And, I guess more importantly, will decent TGP's actually take these types of galleries?

most of them convert pretty bad

surfers don't give a fuck about polish and snazzy graphics...all they care about is that one brunette that reminds them of some bitch they couldn't fuck in high school....and bazaam...out comes the credit card to see her get gangbanged by 12 black dudes.......

i wont take sponsor hosted galleries from other webmasters.
you can end up with 50 identical galleries each day :(

Hosted galleries are for TGP owners. Dont submit them.

They convert pretty good for me, however if you want to submit hosted galleries you'll have to pay the tgp owner to list them...

Yeah, I've always built my own. Hosted galleries kinda piqued my curiousity though. Shit, I'll just use my own content.

I always hate doing all the graphic manipulation, resizing all the pics and doing thumbnails and such. Makes me wanna vomit.

If you are submitting galleries don't use hosted galleries, make your own custom one. If you have an own tgp you can use hosted galleries mixed from various sponsors, very handy, and all the income from your tgp is yours instead of sending most of your traffic to other peoples galleries

Hosted galleries are both good and bad - They very quickly become over used.

We have a couple of hundred and sure, the ctr and sales have dropped back - Rather than make thousands more so we can boast of having so many, we are going to be making many changes to the ones we already have:
Change templates often - Different styles etc.
Change the images every few weeks so they stay fresher, longer.
All link codes will remain the same -

I can't see any other way of ensuring the galleries stay fresher.

I also didn't try to submit hosted galleries,
i doubt that there is many TGPs which would list you.
Second thing is that all hosted galleries I've seen had too many advertising and too much graphics

Why would anyone list a hosted gallery for you?

They could just signup for the program and list it with their own code.

This question has too much variables to ask it in general. I think it depense on niche, quality of content, uniqueness, passion of content and many other characteristics of FHG must be tought when counting its actual efficiency!
