Conversion Ratios - Does This Happen To You Too?
 

I get huge fluctuations with my ratios for BangBrosOnline. One day I'll be converting at lets say 1:300 every day for a couple weeks straight, then the next week 1:3000 everyday, with the exact same source of traffic and in the same amounts. Back and forth.. anyone else experiencing this?

of course it does, it even happens with networks... many days are very very similair then some days amazing and other days low...

dont assume its shving, like myself many webmasters and affiliate program owners build programs and commisions which allow both to make good profit.

i try not to look at how much i make day per day, but rather month per month. it's a lot more consistent and makes a lot more sense that way. :2 cents:

If it's about bangbrosonline do you have this problem since like 45-60 days? Cuz I have the same problem with them.

Interesting, because life with all my other sponsors keeps very consistent conversion ratios. Nothing that fluctuates as bad as 1:300 one week, then ten times as bad the next 1:3000, then the next week back to 1:300 and so forth. I do not see how this is likely using the exact same traffic sources and in the same amounts every week. (Its not like one week, I send all SE traffic, then the next all CJ, its the exact same source.) Plus the fact, that I know this same traffic source converts at consistent ratios with all my others sponsors.

another conspiracy theory and claims of shaving is now about to appear, i give it to thread 20 before its declared and post 28 before bangbros come on here and deny it and then from post 30 loads of bang bros affiliates will come saying bangbros are so good and then the thread will die....

Lol, you may be right. For the record, I never said BangBrosOnline shaves. They're one of my favorite sponsors, which is why I care enough to ask people if they're experiencing the same thing as me. I've already talked with Penn and discussed this situation. Now I'm interested in hearing other webmasters experiences.

It's got me fucked how it happens but it does happen. I can understand wierd fluctuations on small traffic but on large volume you would think C/R's would be reasonably consistant. To go from 1/200 for a week or so to 1/1500 or something for a similar period can only be caused by interferance by the cc processor.:(

If the last few days were good and last week was drought then we have the same schedule. I don't send them much so I expect this type of thing. They still doing good for me overall.

I have it with flashcash too, but it seems to be from pay period to pay period, sometimes it is like 25 signups (free) per pay period and the other time only 5 or something, ratios seems to drop terribly sometimes, very strange, is half american free at that times or something

Yes I see fluctuations, but nothing that fluctuates from 1:300 one week and 1:3000 the next. Then back to 1:300.

It's called weighing. Sponsors will weigh your traffic and credit you for sales based on the productivity of your traffic. :2 cents:

this use to happen to me alot with nastydollars.

Who knows, I'm sure If I asked any of my sponsors about weighing, they'd say no. Weighing is analgous to shaving.

never happens to me. I sell one membership for every 20 hits I send to a sponser. like clockwork. I love it when I'm on hit number 19, cause I KNOW the next one is GUARENTED and always buys.

hell sometimes I even hit the sponser link a couple of times myself when I'm on hit #16 just so that the buying hit#20 comes along a little faster.
