Any reason JS wont display from my new server?
I decided to pull out some old pages that had JS in them to display gallery links, dates, random gallery discriptions and stuff today. None of them worked. In place of where the text should be was just blank space. These pages all worked on other hosts. Just to be sure I also went to quicktgp and set up a quick page of JS generated gallery listings. The page worked when it was being served from chokers machine, but when I put the same code on my box and loaded it. I got nothing but the text at the bottom of the page.
http://www.totally4free.com/choker2.shtml Did I turn something off, or on while compiling apache? What could cause this problem? |
hahahahahahahahahaha is purely client-side, it has nothing to do with the server. Odds are, something else changed is the code used to work and isn't now.

Yeah, thats what I always thought. But if I am just using the copy/paste function from chokers quicktgp then how can that happen. That was the whole point in me using his code, to make sure nothing was wrong with it.

Hmm... I guess the problem was with me using the paste feature in Putty rather than uploading the page. I've always been a fond of the command prompt since back in the dr.dos 1.0 days. I just uploaded it and the pages work fine.
