Should we add StormPay to the mpa2 or ??

We are now working on the great new update/upgrade of the mpa2 program. But I have one question to all you program owners and webmasters out there. Now that Paypal is not accepting adult any more, should we add another company like that ? Should we add StormPay.com OR maybe some of you guys have another one you like more ?

NOW is the time to speak up !

Paul Markham 10-21-2003 07:57 AM

Yes speak up, is Stormpay any use?

Epassporte is not the alternative to Paypal. :(

Im affraid epassporte is not simply because they do not have any recurring membership option :(

But with the new upgrade you will still be able to pay your webmasters with epassport though :)

You should have a paypal like option available. It would be a bonus

Darren 10-21-2003 10:41 AM

do all current customers get the upgrade

are there anyone that have any point of view on this ? If not we will just add StormPay then :)

BluMedia 10-21-2003 02:01 PM

I have not personally used Stormpay but they would be good to add. I think the more options the better. Just hope that Stormpay doesn't ever put their head up their ass like paypal.

Couple of points here Garry.

ePassporte does accept recurring in the sense that a card can be billed as long as there is an available balance (Epoch Clients who use ePassporte as an option).

ePassporte has PayPal functionality (without an Epoch agreement) for folks who sell content or hard goods online. Ask about eP-Purchase.

And, ePassporte, via eP-Purchase, will at some point (TBA) support subscriptions (recurring billing). If you're an Epoch client accepting ePassporte as a payment option, you're already good to go.

Unforntunitly I don't see anyone with close to the market share or stability of paypal, so whoever you chose I think will definity give whatever company a boost since it will all of a sudden be an option on a bunch of paysites that use mpa2. Basically, what you chose will lead the way in a sense.

besides billers, what about the changes to the rest of the program - showing trial to full conversions by affiliate etc?

tootie 10-21-2003 05:21 PM

I don't use StormPay because they scare me. When I last went there, the site looked terribly juvenile and unprofessional. It really made me worry about giving them any of my personal information or keeping any of my money with them. :2 cents:

Darren 10-21-2003 05:31 PM

do not add it, its pointless, no one uses it

Darren 10-21-2003 05:33 PM

what if i wanted to add another processor of my choice to mpa2 can that be done???

:)

Hi there Rand...

Thanks for the clarifications there. Now it is in the paypal way I ment by saying epassporte do not offer recurring membership. The whole idea about adding a "paypal" processor to the mpa2 program is that the customer shouldnt have to add a credit card number to be able to join.

I do thank you for the trust there. But my goal is to add what will benefit you as the program owner AND your webmasters. Thats why I am trying to get some feedback on this board :)

But I guess something would be better then nothing when it comes to an extra payment option :)

But of course ! That is called customization senore, and we do customization jobs everyday :)

We can add what ever processor you want in the the cascading, and we can even add in what ever gateway you choose too if you have your own merchant. You just have to pay us for the extra programming hours.

Perhaps you should consider using solarpay? (www.solarpay.com). They are getting quite large, and they are slashing their fee's all the time. Give them a look anyway. :)

Tuga 10-21-2003 06:11 PM

Can you add stormpay using my referal code? :winkwink:
