anyone been having problems with ICQ?
 

i know alot of ppl say ICQ is full of bugs and problems, but i never have any problems until 2 days ago.

i log onto ICQ, then it connects, then almost instantly disconnects, and shuts down the program by itself.

Can this be an overloaded list of contacts?

how many is the limit?

Here are instructions for you..

1. Located the "flower" icon, for ICQ.

2. Using your mouse, Double click the icon

3. You will automatically connect, or be prompted to enter password.

4. Choose a buddy you wish to talk to and double click his/her name.

i updated icq today cuz it prompted me too and now it errors when i load it

yaaa, ever since they added those fucken ad's,, problems....

Like crazy.

Been really acting possessed lately.

It keeps popping up windows from people who are not messaging me and it keeps asking if I want to accept messages from people who are not on my contact list -- only really they are -- and then when I hit accept, no message appears, even though they are messaging me.

I don't have any problems with ICQ. I changed to trillian (includes ICQ, AIM, MSN, YIM, IRC) and I had no problems yet. The best thing about it is that you don't have any ads from ICQ :)

ICQ has been around since the stone age. It's improved a little since then.:glugglug

had problems with their lite version a while back, made the switch to icq pro 2003a been like 2 months no problems as of yet.
