Hey hosting guys. I Need a Server!
 

I ordered a server from Velcom over a week ago and they still haven't set it up. I've been getting the run around all week from the sales guy. Now they are saying that they're moving servers into a larger cage and my server will be up and running when the new network is complete. OMG

The reason I've waited this long and signed up in the first place is because of their pricing.

Anyone that can match that price will take 2 weeks to setup your server and give you a runaround.

i got a setup like that from rackshack about 40 days ago they had my up and running the next day

no problems to report from that server

as a matter of fact no problems from any of my servers there

Yea, rackshack is still my "back up" server as of right now. I would really like to go with velcom since I've already invested 10 days and they are a bit cheaper, but I can't or don't wanna wait much longer. Also, I'm getting a little concerned about their tech support. So far I'm not too happy with them.
My friend just got a rackshack server. It was set up the next day and according to him, rackshack's support was very helpful. It just sucks that they're sold out of so many servers. I spoke with a rackshack sales person a couple hours ago and she said that they are getting 1,000's of servers in a few weeks. All with $1 set-up.
I did some searches for rackshack on boards and it seems like people either love em or hate em. i don't know.
