Canon A70.. best buy?
 

For digital cameras in the $300.00 range is the Canon A70 the best buy?

I was also lookin at the Sony Cybershot 3.2 megapixel here > http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....oryId=cat04002

Should have my A70 tomorrow, I ordered it from Staples.Com.

Everywhere else I tried was sold out.

maybe i should spend 100 more and get a Canon A80 ?

Even if the A80 is better for $100, it's a good purchase. I'm sure you will enjoy it fully !

do you own a G3? 200 is quite a bit more than 300

Phil Askey has the absolute best digital camera reviews you'll find anywhere on the web at www.dpreview.com ..I highly reccommend checking out that site before you buy a cam.

I picked up the A70 for 300 (320 with taxes), 128 meg card for 35 (supplier at work), and rechargable batteries/charger for like another $20.
