But only 22.54% want you to replace him...

How does that justify double pay?

Let alone replacement?

$10 a day x 2 = $20 a day. You can rake that in with TCG sigs.

Groove, you are not reading the stats right,
analyzing the stats was the key of my success and I'll teach you some proper ways:

1) Lensman should buy Oprano - 12.68%
( I own 1/2 of Oprano, thus come along - MY VOTES)

2) he should replace Amp is moderator 22.54%
(MY VOTES, even though I don't look to replace ANYBODY)

3) no 18.31% MY VOTES

all together: 53.52%

double is required because Amp can't master a RECORD participants poll on his own board...and I can on the board which isn't even mine (yet)

It was wealthy, and I posted it on oprano.

Youth and $ combo. I suppose I could make a mathematical equation and figure out who is really the wealthiest (by my standards).

Well, it included being able to make more in the future so...

Like, an 18 year old with 100k is wealthier than a 20 year old with 150k imho.

The following figures are people who are equally wealthy with the said amount in the bank scott free.

18 - 50k
20 - 80k
22 - 100k
24 - 140k
26 - 190k
28 - 250k
30 - 310k
32 - 380k
34 - 470k
36 - 570k
38 - 680k
40 - 1mill

an 18 year old with 150k is wealthier than a 50 year old with 2 million.

Ross 10-20-2003 10:39 AM

Now that would be interesting. Serge working for Lensman.

you are very wrong....you assume that one keeps on WORKING all years 'till death, which brings LOTS of unknowns about the future income you put into concideration,
wrong logical assumptions from get go on your part.

here is my definition of wealth:

one can quit working and live of the wealth.

the younger you are, the more you need in the bank scott free to afford it.

I at 45 need MORE than one at 65,
given the same life expectancy.

do you follow my logic and lack of logic on your part?

Being able to retire "right now" can be considered wealthy too.

But I'm talking about someone with motivation and someone who gets to enjoy everything at every age and keep making more, that man is truely wealthy.

If I'm 65 with 2 mill and was eating top ramen when I was 24 and working at wendy's, and made it big (the 2 mill) when I was 50, I'm not as wealthy as a 22 year old with 200k. Like I said, this is MY definition.

you have one wrong definition, son, and I am trying to make you see the light EARLY in life before it's too late.

If you beleive I am on "Mission Impossible" mission,
tell me so and I'll stop, as I don't profit or lose from YOUR mistakes.

I wouldn't say mission impossible, but you'd have a pretty hard time convincing me that any man who has a couple million now and lived like pure shit in the prime of their life are truely wealthy. Sure, they can retire and play golf and not worry about the mortgage, but did they get to enjoy the $ when they were young? No.

Security and being able to retire is a very good thing, but $ with being young and the ambition to make more money for ages to come is a wealthy person imho.

If I was a 50 year old millionaire, I'd trade it all for another chance at being 18 with 50 g's to work with.

you would and I wouldn't.....and unlike you,
I've been in both shoes, yours and "50 years old")
because:

A Time for Everything
1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

2 a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;

3 a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;

4 a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;

5 a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;

6 a time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;

7 a time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;

8 a time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

9 What profit hath he that worketh in that wherein he laboreth?

10 ¶ I have seen the travail, which God hath given to the sons of men to be exercised in it.

11 He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.

12 I know that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice, and to do good in his life.

13 And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labor, it is the gift of God.

14 I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him.

15 That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past.

Most 18yr olds wouldn't know what to do with the expensive toys and responsibilities that money brings, and would lose them rather quickly.

At least when you're 50 you can appreciate things more and you're not in such a hurry to get to the next "big" thing.
There are more important things in life but you don't know what they are at 18.

Besides, you act as if 50 is old, feeble, pissing in a diaper with angry nurses attending to you. Not so - and you're selling yourself far too short if you think that's what life will be like then. You'll be nearly as fit as you are now if you take care of yourself, but your mind will be much broader.

All things get better with age. :)
