anyone driven the 350z?
looks like a sweet car. went and looked at one today.
|
Went to go test drive one of these baby's at the local Nissan dealership, and they wouldn't let me take it out. Now, keep in mind I also told him I was ready to buy if I liked the car. He said "no, only if you're ready to buy it. period." What a bunch of cock smokers!
|
nissan dealer here is known as douche bags to begin with so im sure their response to a test drive wouldnt be much different.
|
yes, i've driven one.
very nice car. not the best rear view. good power. handles very well. stay away from the convertible imho. this year i drove a bunch of cars, since i was in the market for a new one: Z4 boxster 350Z S2000 SL500 911 Carrera 911 Carrera 4S Acura NSX i ended up buying a new S2000 (i already owned one before), and a new 911 Carrera 4S. The 350Z is a very nice car. one of the sports car bargains. |

i would have bought it, except that it's aging, and a new one is coming out soon. once it does, i'll likely trade in my C4S for one. |
350z convertable RULES !!!

i really doubt it. one of the best hardcore sports cars built today, at any price. i bought one in 00, and again in 03. it's that good. it's worth one third of my porsche, but handles better in dry warm weather. better steering, much, much, MUCH better tranny, and much better in cross winds. as soon as it rains, the 911 C4S reigns supreme. and the Porsche is much faster in a straight line. the S2000, sounds much, much better than my 911 at full song. please note that my 911 has the engine power package, and the sport exhaust. some (most, in fact) only look at car labels lol. i can give you half a dozen links praising the S2000 as the best sports car, competing against other cars twice it's price. purity. |
well the local nissan dealer let me test drive the 350z Track model today. told them id give them an answer if i wanted it or not in the morning. funny thing this girl comes in as im going out on the test and wanted to test drive the convertable, and they said NO. salesmen was pretty cool, he kept tellin me to open it up and sayin ok here comes a real good turn u can get aggressive on. very cool car!

It's a sweet looking car. The bronze gold color looks so sweet on it.

I have an '02 M3 but I've always been a Z buff. The dealer let me take one out for a test drive no problem.
I loved the way the 350Z handled. For the money, a loaded 350Z cannot be beat. |
the local nissan place also told me, no test drivers unless we get a commitment from you that you will buy, ala a $1000 deposit. The piece of shit also told me they range from 36-40K.
So i get home, pull up NissanUsa.com, go to the Z section, fully customize one (color/features/etc), enter my zip code, and it shows that one is available just like I want, for 32K at the same dealership I was at earlier in the day. BTW, the one i customized, was fully loaded, 18" Wheels, Navigation, AeroDynamics package etc. |

I agree with quiet. Take your biz elsewhere if they don't want to take you seriously. Even if that means you have to wait a little longer to get exactly what you want.
I even went as far as going to another state to purchase my car - but am now getting it serviced locally. You're really going to be happy with that car. If it was out when I was on the prowl for a new car - I would have saved myself $20k, and been just as happy as I am with my M. |
Hey,
I have a 350 rwhp supercharged S2000 and a 686 rwhp Supra, and I have to agree that the S2000 is a damn fine car. It's a blast to drive! Only downside is that at 6'3 and 240, it's a tough fit. :( |
