recurring and why? (curiosity)
i always stick to PPS cuz im afraid the content sucks, or the program lies about updates etc. why do you all choose one or the other? if you do both do you promote each for different types of traffic? (tgp... search engine)

2 different thoughts on this.
In some cases the recurring is so good that you're making money for years off of some sites...multiply that by a bunch of different sites and you can take time off, or experience a family emergency etc and not worry about checks suddenly stop coming in. And then some people feel like they want the money now...especiallly in this tough climate we face today with processors going belly up etc. |
hell i could offer pay per signup but its the benifit of the webmaster for revshare.. since the avg retention is 4-5 months on the system it only benifits them... i thought about it before i launched it and stick by and im sure my webmasters will aswell

i always take recurring if that option is given. Also i always ask to see the members area as well. :thumbsup

I haven't done a whole lot lately with sites, but I'm getting back into it..
I use both.. Recurring for the security of knowing that if the site is good the member(s) will stay and I'll have money coming in with little to no real effort.. Per SU for the quick money, but like eros said, if you have to take leave for a while your money will drop.. |
lol thanks :) just speaking my mind here.... i think some people look at the big $ off the bat and not think long term... i also find it harder for sites like myself to get good affilates cause they are looking for the 35 dollars per signup and so on.. but if some do the math they would see the avg signup would turn to be more than that.. but thats part of biz..

Hey nj, just signed up to your program tonite, whats the rules for using some of the free content to make my own banners. Just shoot you the url of the banners for approval? Or can I just run with them?
PS. Revshare all the way, make cash while I sleep. |

Just make yourself a personal checklist on sites you plan to promote. Get in the members area and review it - if you dont like it...chances are you wont sell it well and joe surfer wont like it either.
Does site XYZ update often? How do I rate their content? Would I renew my membership? Is the monthly cost a value for product recieved? Just ask yourself common sense questions as if you were purchasing the membership for yourself. :thumbsup |

perfect responce :) |
Revshare programs always say i will make more with them then
PPS. Well go PPS and rip me off then. We will both be happy. :thumbsup |
I can think of a lot of sites that are HUGE yet don't recur at all.
It's a hard call because even looking at a site on a trial or for a month does not indicate future updates. |
