I'm sure the picture does it no justice. There was an amazing sunset here the other day. The sky was pink like in that one, and the bottoms of the clouds seemed to glow blue. The pink was so vibrant, it actually gave everything around me a pink tint. Was incredible.

The Pros:

it's always summer..... it's truly paradise. Beach across the street. Full on island environment..... food.... music.... the whole feel. Life is always good here.

The Cons:

It's expensive as fucking hell. EVERYTHING costs more. We rely on the ships to bring us everything except coconuts and pineapples. (I have a coconut tree in my front yard that I just had the coconuts chopped out of.... about 100 of them).....

My cost of living per month is more than most average people gross in 6 months. It's truly brutal spendy. But worth every cent. I will never live anywhere else. I'll die on this island.

I noticed the cost of things when I went to Hawaii - things were understandably very expensive there! You'd really have to earn a nice wage just to get by... however with a sunset like that - it does make it more worthwhile.

Amp: You should visit the great barrier reef / whitsundays (if you haven't already) - to me, that place is absolute paradise - spent one of the best weeks of my life there, it's an overdose of natural beautiy - you would no doubt love it too!

i cant wait to find a place that i love so much i want to die there.
