****************************** http://www.smh.com.au/articles/2003/...364485294.html New steroid may be rife in US By Jere Longman in New York October 18, 2003 A previously undetected steroid has been identified and a new test indicates that as many as half a dozen athletes in track and field have recently used it, according to US drug-testing officials. "I know of no other drug bust that is larger than this," said Terry Madden, chief executive of the US Anti-Doping Agency, which conducts drug testing for Olympic-related sports. |
