Just got a call from Fleets fraud prevention and someone has been making purchases for amts of 17k, 5k, 3k and so on.

Seems this cc number is owned

Fucking A man CC friaud is getting out of hand :mad:

Recently I've noticed that at Pep Boys, a store my girl works at in the mall and a few other places are still saving the carbons with the whole card number/exp date on it. Not too smart to say the least. Right next to the register at her store was a whole roll of them, probably 100-200 cards in all. They leave this stuff unattended when they go in the back room too :warning

the 17k one was denied . thank god gamestop.com they were trying to order 17k in fucking games!!!! that was there last charge aatemot but the others went through. They are sending us new cards and a affidavit to sign.

Ask for a new limit, say $100. Should be enough for ya.

Wow - that's insane. You don't seem too worried about it though... good job on keeping sane.

Now I just need to sneak in your bedroom again and copy the new cards.

It's times like this you feel grateful that they do vigilant fraud checks. I used to get calls once per month from them to verify large purchases and it drove me nuts. I guess if they can catch things like this its worth it.
