Is 2Checkout complete and total shit or what?

I am trying to buy something from someone using 2Checkout as the processor and so far I have failed with two different cards.

Card #1) The address is wrong.

Um, no. I know my address, thanks. However, there's a lot that could be wrong with an address so let's try another card.

Card #2) Wrong CVV2 number.

What the fuck? I am looking at the back of my card, right now. There's the number. I'm looking at it. I see it. It is definitely what I typed.

Am I dealing with a third-rate company, here, or what?

Their fraud department investigates all transactions and cancels small suspicious orders, or calls and requests additional information for larger ones. If you fax them a copy of your drivers license and credit card or bank statement they will probably let you go through with it. But you are really doing something wrong, the address you enter must be the exact same one the card is registerred to. Also, my CVV2 is 3 numbers though on the back of the card it's 7 numbers, I don't know what the first 4 are ;)

Who in their right mind would want to fax all that info to them?

I said the first card had an address problem. The second card got past the address thing and told me the CVV2 number was incorrect. I know the CVV2 number. It is printed right on the card. The information I provided was 100% correct and I have used this card to make online purchases, before. Whatever the problem is, it is definitely in their system.

About calling and faxing and everything... What? There is nothing I need to buy off the internet so badly that I'm going to run around in circles babbling on the phone and faxing shit. I'll just find an alternative vendor for the product.

Let's just say that this sort of thing taints my view of their company and will certainly make me think twice about using them. One card, maybe. Two different cards and there's a problem.

Seriously, or are you just joking? The CVV2 number is only 3-4 digits long, depending on your card. If you look closely, you'll see the first four digits are the same as the last four digits of your credit card number.

For instance,
1234 5678 9012 3456
CVV2: 3456 131
