Great digging, as you can tell by the article, so much early innovation into computer video...

This example, unfortunately, does not count as prior art because it was live video... Acacia's patent doesn't claim live streaming like from a web cam, live talk show, etc.

Examples or article that describe playing back (not live) an audio or video file over a phone lines, fiber optics, etc before 1990 should give you a tip to check that article/lihk out.
