Only in japanese but available on kazaa with english subtitles. About a group of school kids who get sent to an island where they all have to kill each other - a government scheme o decrease dense population levels..

Battle royale rocks! So fucking funny. The best is when that japanese girl on the tv explains the "rules". Thats bizarre haha. Thanks for the recommendation of Ichi the killer, will definatly pick it up asap!

Downloading it now...if it's worth it I'll definitely order it on DVD.

What's fucked up is all of the gore and blood in that room, yet the guy in the middle is completely clean. Not a drop on him.

If you like this sort of thing, you might also like "Audition" which is by the guy who did Ichi The Killer.

Frankly, though, I think most of these movies are pretty silly.
