I was gonna get one till i heard it won't work with dial up connections..

I got a satellite with pvr

they are decent depending where you live

Never heard good things about it

I was thinking of signing up for this service. For $25 a month you'll get long distance included! I rarely use my land line anway, and it's cheaper than the phone company.

been a extremely happy customer for about 5 months

man they own, ive never had any problems, sounds are very clear, and service is reliable, i would recomend them

$39.99 you get unlimited long distance.

I think I'll try it and see what it's like and if it's any good keep it.

I got vonage about 2 months ago.

I have to admit..it rocks. :-)

Sounds just a clear as a regular line.

So far the only drawbacks i found was you don't get
911, need additional inhouse wiring setup to connect additonal phones in other rooms, some lag time, No power No service, and no dial up ie sattelite or internet

911 is included.. just needs to be activated..

I use 1 ATA device on ALL my phones using pre-exsiting wiring

Never had ANY lag time

True.. no power no service.. But I keep a cellphone handy in case of emergencies

Bad part is they are charging for long distance

I am using http://www.iconnecthere.com/ with a Cisco ATA 186 ... works absolutely perfect ... and I think it's cool to sit in Europe and use a New York phone number :-)
