Anecdotal stories about being shot
 

The suicide by pellet gun thread...reminded me of a couple of cases I know of about people being shot.

One case I am aware of is...a man and his girlfriend decided to do the guys wife in. The guy shot his wife three times in the head with a .25 semi automatic pistol and left her for dead. She not only lived but testified in court against the two.

A personal friend of mine was shot 5 times (no head shots) with a .32 revolver...took the pistol away from the guy and almost beat him to death with it. Both ended up in intensive care...both survived and my friend still has two bullets in him that could not be removed.

Only shot I've been involved with was the kind the doctors give.

I was at a gun range a long time ago with a girl friend. I was teaching her to shoot. She had a .22 pistol and was using a wood block to prop it up when she shot.
Well I guess the gun slipped down and she fired directly into the wood.
I was like, wtf did you do and she looked at me and said....your bleeding.

I guess I got hit by the fragments. In the neck and arm. Just flesh wounds, but pretty freaky.


Oh and I shot myself in the foot with a BB gun once, that hurt like hell!

Saw a guy shoot himself once. We were hunting ,we dropped down so would not spook some elk. The muzzle of the gun buried in the mud when he went to the ground......He reached up to clear the dirt clod off the barrel.....some how his rifle went off .......shot his finger clean off.

When I was a kid, my friend next door shot me in the butt with his BB Gun. Then I strangled him with some rope. Then we went inside and his mom made us cookies and we watched Transformers.

Those were good times :thumbsup

Been hit 4 times in two seperate incidents-

Received a total of 1 stitch.... Guess I'm lucky

I understand it hurts like a sumBee! :1orglaugh I only really know one person that has been shot but he won't talk about very much.

I dont get shot at anymore now that I'm rolling with my homies
