swami 10-16-2003 06:32 AM

No one.Whwn the chips are down in this game people only worry about themselves.

maxjohan 10-16-2003 06:37 AM

I deffentily agree with everyone here:

you don't know where you have people in this biz.

It makes me dizzy :helpme

DamageX 10-16-2003 06:43 AM

You don't know where you have people in ANY biz. So yeah, trust no one. Everybody will be happy as long as you make money together, but then again, some might get greedy and want more, so they may fuck you. And just because you don't know that you're getting fucked, doesn't mean that you're not actually getting fucked. So to re-iterate: trust no one.

I only trust Steve Goldman ....

:1orglaugh

Well , seriously , I trust a lot of people , but if I haven't done biz with someone for a reasonable length of time , I exercise caution .

Amongst well-known names , Choker is the most trust worthy.

:winkwink:

But me :thumbsup

Its very hard to be in business with a zero trust mindset. You can't do business all by yourself on an island for goodness sake.

I don't trust the majority of people in this industry, although I'm happy to say there are a handful of people who I would hand a briefcase with a $1 million in cash to hold for me for a week and I have no doubt every dollar would be there when I come back to pick it up.

Business relationships on the internet work very well. I would not give anyone a briefcase full of money but within reason they do and say what they are supposed to.

Trust is something that comes in time in my eyes. Initially, has the person done business with others that I know or know and what is their take on this person.

Trust them only so far and let them continually earn more of it as you also, have to earn theirs back.

There is plenty of money to be made for us all out there to have a piece of the pie. Honesty and integrity will take you miles farther and make you much more profitable than burning bridges, being a rip off artist or worse.

Your past actions will determine future behaviors and how others see you.

:)

Actually, I trust almost everybody with whom I work.
They are
60% US Webmasters
5% My coworkers and friends
35% Outside US and East European webmasters
One of them, besides he was from the US, had shaved me few times. Never had any problems with Russian, Ukrainian and German webmasters.
