PIBCash is spamming its webmasters!
 

Just got a spam mail for ToniFreeland.com and naturally, as I sometimes promote it and PIBCash, I proceeded to check it out.

At the bottom of the e-mail I can find this:

So I clicked the "here" link and went to http://www.hotxxxmail.com. Just a splash page and textbox. So I did a whois on the domain and to my surprise, it seems to be registered to PIBCash!

They didn't spam me and I am one of their webmasters.

They're not spamming their affiliate program, that would've been ok. They're spamming their SITES.

If I ever got an email from one of my sponsors for one of their sites, I'd think that sponsor was retarded...prolly unlist em too, if I wasn't making any money from them (would've done it anyway)

Contact me on ICQ or E-mail and foward me a copy of the e-mail and we will investigate it. PIBCash has a zero tolerence on spamming, and we do not spam in any shape or form.

I thought they all spammed their sites.

That's because you did not enter into PIBCash's double opt in program that is located on the bottom front tour page of every PIBCash site. Looks like somebody else did. :glugglug

You're full of shit and you know it. There is NO WAY IN HELL I would EVER submit my webmaster address to any site that is not related to my adult webmastering. Any webmaster with his head out of his ass knows this. And an opt-in e-mail list that sends me paysite offers is NOT related to my adult webmastering, no matter how you turn it around. Furthermore, I know far too well how most mailing lists work, so I wouldn't even submit a Hotmail addy to any of'em.

However, I did use my webmaster address when signing up for PIBCash, and if that also got me subscribed to your opt-in list, I sure as hell didn't see that in your TOS. I got spammed with your shit WITHOUT my consent, if that's double opt-in then you got some major issues with your English.

Maybe they mailed the wrong list by accident? Delete works :P

1: If we are spamming our affiliates then how come none of our other affiliates are claiming that we spammed them too?

No need to answer as I already know why. It's a double opt in list. Nothing more, nothing less.

You're saying no other webmasters got the spam? Well, I know at least one, and several have replied to my thread about this on AWI, saying they got spammed by you too. Well, you know where you can stick your "true double opt-in list".

As for the publicity, again, you're welcome. I trust the webmasters to draw their own logical conclusions.

Below is the AWI thread where ONE person said they posted about this to PIB. That same person also said that they had just purchased the domain that received the email. They also went to PIB on the 10th and posted about their concern and then came back with this reply:

Cool. You're one perfectly truthful person. I can live with that. The question still remains, if I didn't sign up for your spam list, then how come my webmaster e-mail address is on that list? I have already stated that THE ONLY purpose of that address is for other people to contact me about webmastering issues. Why, in God's name, would I ever sign up for spam list using it? It's not like I don't already get a shitload of spam from "honest" sponsors to it, why would I WILLINGLY sign up for even more spam? You find out how my webmaster address got on that list, tell me all about it, and if it was an honest mistake, I can live with that, nobody is more than human. And I'll be the first to apologize.

Just to throw a spanner in the works, I received an email from [email protected] advertising an exit broker.

The email address it was sent to has the domain of an obscure/experimental TGP. This email has never been used for signing up for any program, or sending outbound mail. It is not listed on my webmaster trade page either.

How did pib get it and why are they sending email to an address that is not signed up to their program?

I got the same mail to an address that I never signed up to any sponsors or webmaster boards with :mad:

The only place i did sign up was on the Board so no connection to their PIB Cash at all.
If i do sign up to a board i do aggree to get info related to the Board but not from a other Program.
Btw i did hit the unsubscribe link.

And for the record....I was stating that the specific list that was initially mentioned in this thread was a double opt in list. The email you are referring may be another story.

Aaron just did check again and i can't recall to have ever made a deal with SixPac, also i did check regarding my addy i did use for the sign up on PIB Board and it's not the one i received this mail regarding Exit King.

So how do they collect the e-mail addresses the send their mail out ? do they buy some list's, are they scanning all the sites for e-mail addresses ?

You do understand that if i get an e-mail from a comp. to which i NEVER gave out my e-mail address i regard that as SPAM.

Still waiting for the clarification about how my webmaster e-mail got in that double opt-in list of yours.

I get spam like flies on horse shit all day long. Just delete it move on, whats the big deal. Lets say they spammed big deal. I would never deal with a program that spammed me.

I guess that part at the top is confusing to some. This is news from PibCash about our New Program.
