Telstra Australia - Under Virus Attach

Telstra Australia - Under Virus Attach

Just seen a report on the "7.30 Report " why e mail on the Telsta (Australia's largest ISP) network are taking up to 2 weeks !! to be delivered.

Telstra's spokesman said that they where attached by a virus last week. When activated it turned their customers computers into super spammers...

In the two weeks of October the amount of emails sent on the Australian Newwork (All ISP's) equalled all the emails sent in 2003.

The other Australian ISP's seemed to identify and address the problem rather quickly but Telstra was hit hard !!

Poor Telstra !! Don't you feel for them
:)

Strange that's definately not happening here. Sometimes mail comes through straight away but mostly its delayed by days. I don't mind too much, as I know the mail will get here eventually but would not want it to go on permanently. Otherwise I will take up your offer integrated.

Better not use Telstra as your upstream provider, they have a habit of 'Tripping over cables' for ISP's who are competitive with them.

They are required to provide the connectivity by law, but you can't help the accidental unplugging of a cable, and the 2 days it takes to remember which cable was 'accidentally' unplugged :)

im using ozemail looking for other providers with unlimted d/l/u/l

any around yet?

It would take Telstra management 2 weeks just to ORGANIZE the first fucking meeting....

Juicy, you are far too kind in your treatment of one of the last bastions of good ole, old school Australian bureacracy....

Bigpond my ass.... more like Bigswamp..
