Looking at a VW Touareg
Hey I am thinking of buying a VW Tourareg for my GF!
Anyone here actually have one? I have read alot about em but I want an actual hands on Experience? |
Dont have one but thinking also of getting one. Great looking car, far better than the Porsche cayenne it was jointly developed with. Saw one the other day, real road presence.:thumbsup

Its a great looking car and getting excellent reviews.

You should think about the nissan murano or... the Infiniti FX35/45
All are amazing vehicles... and the sound system is superb. |
yeah, i like the FX35/45. not an suv fan though.

The Toureg was Motor Trend Luxury SUV of the year. I've made a friend at the VW dealership (i'm a VW nut) and have driven both the 6 Cylinder and 8 Cylinder variations and am in love. I'm usually an SUV hater, but these babies are right up my alley.
If I wasn't already head over heels for the VW R32, I'd probably consider the Toureg. |
Wiseman there are a few models to look at....they start pretty cheap but the higher end ones are VERY close to a Cayenne (Porsche) and they drive pretty sweet....even real offroad handling is supposed to be kick ass.
I know only one guy who bought one...he really likes it. I personally don't like how they look too much, but I wish I did cause they are really supposed to be sweet rides that can handle anything you throw at them. |
The Toureg is great all around.
The FX35/45 has no room at all inside. The Nissan Murano has a goofy transmission that only has 1 gear so excelleration is very odd. |
There's a Toureg board at VW Vortex Forums. 20,000 posts already. I'm sure you'll find lots of owner reactions and thoughts there.
