Aint that the truth... The avarage attendence for a Marlin game this last season was under 17,000. When there local fans don't care, I cant imagin them drawing a national following.

The dolphins have always drawn big because they're in the playoffs so often its ridiculous.

You can't really blame the marlins fans though, after the 97 fire sale nobody wanted to pay major league prices to watch a AAA team.

All the games will be sold out, but I bet Fox was salivating over the ratings potential of a Cubs vs Red Sox world series.
